Milestones
2011
RSI is founded by a group of six co-founders, including Yasmin Glanville, Dr. William (Bill) Ratcliffe, Peter Love, Dr. Jamie Gray-Donald, Jim Johnston, and Edwin Lim. The founders brought expertise from diverse fields such as finance, energy, built environment, and technology.
2021
RSI launches the Community Climate Action initiative engaging local residents and volunteers to identify and implement social, economic, and environmental solutions to climate change.
2025
RSI launches its "The BIG SHIFT" event series with The Future of Work and Education, hosted by TELUS.
2026
RSI launches two new events: "Rethink Canadian Home Building" and "Toronto Climate Week: A Look at Successful Building Conversions"
