We hosted an incredibly successful event on June 4th as part of Toronto Climate Week (TOCW)!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to explore how we can tackle the urban housing challenge through sustainable building conversions.

Here are the key takeaways from our panel and presentations:

  • Research & Insights: We dived into successful conversions with in-depth research completed by Southern Harbour Ltd.

  • Real-World Success: Representatives from the City of Ottawa shared their firsthand success in providing much-needed, unconventional housing solutions.

  • Sustainable & Profitable Pathways: Attendees learned how building retrofits and conversions can be both environmentally sound and economically viable.

  • Policy & Enabling Change: We discussed the critical policy perspectives required to scale these vital solutions.

"The greenest building is the one that already exists."

A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Team & Partners

This event wouldn't have been possible without the dedication of our incredible network.

  • Organizers: Massive thanks to Aiden Sweeny, Juliette Sweeney, Tom Hawkett, Phoebe Price-Roberts, Mykyta Ponomarenko, and Jayden Kuzdak for your flawless execution and dedication.
